Ernst Haas (1921 – 1986)
Photojournalist and artist, Ernst Haas was an early pioneer of the use of color film in his work. His unlimited imagination and creativity inspired many younger photographers. His impressive career also included becoming President of Magnum Photos, and publishing one of the most successful photography books in modern history. Toward the end of his career Hass taught photography as a Master Photographer at The Maine Photographic Workshop.
